This is a quick update.  Our family went on a trip to the Black Hills in early October.  We tried to go last year in early October 2012, but rather than doing any exploring on that trip we got stuck in our hotel for 3 days without power due to 48" of snow falling (they had predicted 6+").  This year was a much more successful trip.  This pic was taken on our hike up Harney Peak.  The kids were such troopers!  Josie got a little sick of riding in the backpack after about 5 hours, but for the most part she also did very well.  What breathtaking beauty - God's creation is truly majestic!

This picture was taken on our Canada fishing trip that we took with 3 other couples in August, 2014.  No kids this time, though we know any future trips to Canada will involve our kids.  It was a great weak of great weather and great fishing.
