First lost tooth!

About 1 1/2 weeks ago, Ava lost her first tooth. Her tooth had been just barely loose all summer, and on a Monday she bit into an apple and said "Owww, Mom!" Her gums around that tooth were bleeding and suddenly the hardly loose tooth was very, very wobbly. She was constantly playing with it over the next two days. Thursday morning she crawled into bed with me for a quick snuggle before getting ready for school, and she suddenly says, "My tooth is gone!" My first thought was, "oh great, she swallowed her tooth." So we went to her room and I picked up her blanket laying on her bed, and there was a very small thud. There it was! Her first lost tooth. She was so excited it happened on a school day. We put the tooth in a baggie and off to school she went. She came home with a sticker and "lost tooth" certificate. It was a good day!
